Authentic documentary photography

MaddMann Photography specialises in unobtrusive event photography, prioritising discretion and respect. With extensive experience working with celebrities, children, the homeless, royalty, and other sensitive subjects, we ensure the privacy and safety of those we photograph.

Our silent cameras and specialised low-light equipment capture moments naturally, without disruptive lights and flashes, while maintaining the highest quality. At MaddMann Photography, your privacy and the authenticity of your moments are our highest priorities.

HAYLEY MADDEN

Hayley began her journey in the darkrooms of The Independent learning the tricks of the trade from top press photographers in a fast moving environment.

Throughout the nineties and noughties, she captured the vibrant world of music, contributing to renowned publications like NME, VOX, UNCUT, MOJO, Select, and Rocksound.

​

Her career took an exciting turn when she worked with the Mayor of London, serving under both Ken Livingstone and Boris Johnson from 2000 to 2016 and Hayley's keen eye and dedication earned her a regular spot as a photographer for The Royal Collection from 2008 to 2018.

​

Currently, Hayley collaborates with Kyle Mannock, providing her expertise to various clients in the arts and entertainment industry, including The Poetry Society, The National Literary Trust, The Creative Education Trust, and The Museum of the Home. She has also undertaken significant commissions for Westminster Abbey, Spread the Word, The National Portrait Gallery, Poetry Translation Centre, The Old Vic, Nutkhut, and World Book Day, focusing on profile-raising events and outreach programs.

Hayley's work is a testament to her passion and commitment, as she continues to capture the essence of her subjects with sincerity and excitement.

KYLE MANNOCK

Kyle's passion for photography blossomed during the Covid lockdown, where he found joy in capturing the beauty of wildlife parks and public gardens. His early work with artificial light earned recognition, with a triptych selected for exhibition by 'The Secret Artist, Rainham' in 2022 and featured in the associated book.

Currently, Kyle collaborates with Hayley Madden, and has worrked  for various clients in the arts and entertainment industry, including The Poetry Society, The National Literary Trust, The Creative Education Trust, and The Museum of the Home as well as commissions for Spread the Word, Poetry Translation Centre, The Old Vic, Nutkhut, and World Book Day, focusing on profile-raising events and outreach programs.

 

Kyle is still finding his feet as a photographer in his own right, but has built a client list of his own, including The Mind Charity, Inamatchbox.com and The Surin Dojo. He has also shot extensively for the musician Elio Pace, for "The Billy Joel Song book" and the associated Albums concerts showing exceptional talent for low light and concert photography. His work has been published in a book celebrating the show.
